My husband
and I moved to the Tahoe Truckee Basin over thirty years
ago from the Bay Area. We both were, and still are, avid skiers,
back packers and outdoor enthusiasts. We had become weary
of traffic, commutes and congestion and longed to be in the
mountains. So, after a couple of months of planning and consideration,
things fell into place and we purchased and moved into our
first home in Lake Tahoe in June 1976. Eleven years and two
children later, we sold our home and moved to Truckee! Both
our children have skied on the Squaw Valley Ski Team since
they were barely able to walk. As a family we ski together
and take regular back packing trips.
My husband, Ken, and I enjoy working together.
With his career as a general building contractor, combined with my real
estate and design background, we've been able to assist our clients in
securing the best possible property to fit their needs.
With every
passing day, whether it is work or recreation, it's as though
I've been on an extended vacation since 1976, and I'm not
living out of a suitcase! And, when I do have to leave, I
can't wait to return to Truckee!
